The Our Mythical Education Database is a resource of educational materials concerned with the mythology of ancient Greece and Rome. The database aims to include material from all media employed within education, both formal and informal, and examine the emphases and priorities and methods used in each case. We seek to compare, discern similarities and differences in order to better grasp common assumptions, techniques and educational systems, and also to understand the differences between these, in order to present a comprehensive picture of the classical myth within education worldwide. We believe that the commonalities show our shared humanity around the globe, and the differences reflect our mutual respect for other cultures and values.
