Marlise Bété

Marlise Bété is a comedian and stage manager. She worked in many artistic projects and manager of Bana ba Africa — a private-owned venture with a vocation to train young Cameroonian writers in creative writing and story-telling. She regularly organizes training workshops and tours, such as the International Festival of the Theater of Thadow in Cameroon, Objects, Puppets and Clowns, entitled Christmas in Puppets. She won the NRV Kultur scholarship of the German Government in 2012, for her efforts in promoting Cameroonian culture in her artistic activities.
