Omotola Jalade Ekeinde , b. 1978

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde (1978) “is a Nigerian actress, singer, philanthropist and former model” (see here, accessed: June 4, 2019). She is a graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife and Yaba College of Technology Lagos, Nigeria. She is credited for being a leading actress in the Nigerian film industry, and has appeared in 300 films, which have sold millions of copies. She has received many awards, including the Screen Nation “Best Actress” on the TV Station, African Magic. She was honored in the Time Magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2013. In recognition of her contribution to Nigeria cinema/film industry, the Nigerian government made her a member of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2014.
