Genevieve Nnaji , b. 1979

Genevieve Nnaji (1979) was born in Imo state to a family of affluence. She attended primary and secondary education in Nigeria, and hold a BA in creative arts from the university of Lagos. At the age of 9, there was evidence that she would make a great career in acting when she participated in a Vogue Soap Opera in 1987, and at 19 she played an important role in the film Most Wanted. This propelled her into the limelight in the Nigerian movie industry. By 2009 she had become one of the highest paid Nollywood actress in Nigeria.
